What is my approah or pattern in teaching a question?


I believe that most of the matter in a well attempted paper is nothing but the student's own words of understanding that particular question or topic

That gets me to a detailed explanation of a topic (as I did for a concept oriented topic- variations in LIVER FUNCTION TESTS)

A large question can be properly classified or split into further small topics to ease the learning!
( As I did for splitting various types of tests for liver)

But sadly not all questions would fall in the category of understanding and there are some topics that need a lot of memory and I tried coping up with that by making multiple menomonics
( As I did for explaining the botulism in the sample)

Mnemonics of mine need not be remembered as they are mostly the mere name of the topic...

Ex mnemonic for learning botulism is BOTULISM

For Tetanus it is TETANUS

For indication of bone marrow transplantation is TRANSPLANTATION

For causes of polycythemia it is POLYCYTHAEMIA

Topics like poisonings have been my favourite as I had a mnemonic explaining each and every case in the chapter!

I feel that the mere basic explanation is the key in cracking complex concepts!

And here I would be teaching in a manner where there would be an explanation of every word uttered, from the very conceptual roots of a topic!

Though an important concept oriented topic- gets more duration of teaching (like for LIVER FUNCTION TESTS)

A memory based question is narrowed to mnemonic ( LIKE BOTULISM)
