About Irene
I’m a Zoology graduate currently doing my master’s in Immunology at TCD, and I’m passionate about making biology understandable and enjoyable for students. I know how tricky some topics can feel, so I focus on breaking them down into simple, clear ideas that make sense.
I’ve worked with teens and university students, helping them build confidence, tackle tricky concepts, and improve their grades. My lessons are relaxed but structured, always tailored to what you need most. Whether it’s exam prep or understanding a tough topic, I’m here to help.
I love seeing students grow in confidence and develop a real interest in biology—I’m here to help you succeed!

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable concepts and use real-life examples to make learning biology relatable and interesting.
Lessons typically last one hour, combining clear explanations with interactive discussions and problem-solving to reinforce understanding. I also provide personalized notes and study tips to help students succeed beyond our sessions.
With a strong background as a Zoology graduate and current master's student at TCD, I bring both academic expertise and a passion for teaching. My lessons are designed for teens and adults, from secondary school students preparing for exams to university students needing extra support.
